Discover History, Birds and Trees. on a walk that will be largely on the grass. We will circle the inside of the Old Circle and head west along the ridge, which will give outstanding views over Charleston to the Birch mausoleum. We will return via the the short nature trail adjacent to the Butterfly Garden. Discover the stories behind people buried in the Cemetery, and its flora and fauna. Bring binoculars and or camera's for bird watching and recording the sites. Sturdy shoes suitable for walking on grass, even hiking poles are advised. The walk will be led by Mary Price Ratrie Arboretum Arborist; Christopher Higgins.
